The Students of University Of Maiduguri(UNIMAID) have been directed by university authority to vacate hostels immediately due to the roll-over of the ongoing ASSU strike by 8 weeks

On Tuesday, the University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID) issued a statement from its Registrar, Ali A. Madagwa, indicating that students must vacate their hostels by Sunday 20th March, 2022.

On his statement He said that “Following the nation-wide strike embarked upon by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) on 14th February 2022 and the roll-over of the strike for another eight weeks, the University Management hereby directs that all students residing on campus must vacate all hostels by Sunday 20 March 2022. This is because of the cessation of academic activities on campus.
