NBC Approves MAPOLY Radio: Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta, has officially joined the ranks of Nigerian campus radio schools. Thanks to the National Broadcasting Commission’s (NBC) approval to commence test broadcasts on 99.7FM.

NBC Approves MAPOLY Radio and The test transmission will instantly resume full functioning on the same frequency modulation as the “voice of development.”

Dr. Adeoye Odedeji, the Acting Rector, responded to the news by noting that the achievement was in keeping with the Status Government’s goal of returning the Polytechnic to its prior state.

He went on to remark that the campus radio would not only be a beneficial medium for current broadcast journalism, but it would also promote communication within MAPOLY’s ecosystem through educational and developmental programs broadcast on the radio and online at

Odedeji confirmed that the radio station will go live when the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) visited the Polytechnic in August for program re-accreditation and resource inspection of 17 new programs.
